Left Sioux at 11 o'clock and got to Omaha about 4 o'clock in the afternoon & went right to the recruiting office & left Omaha about 11 o'clock at nite. Rode all nite long on train. Sure saw some country too.   Arrived at Denver at 2:30, laid over in Denver 50 minutes, then came on out to the Fort.   Today April 25th 1917 took examinations passed them all & was vaccinated. It sure was some dope alright. Harold Wellington fainted before he went up to be vaccinated.

Well, how is every body back there hope every one feels good. All the boys here are feeling good & happy. We leave the receiving barracks tomorrow.   The way the soldiers are talking they will send us out of here right away, so don't write until you hear from me again. I will write right away after I find out for sure.   Us Coast Art. boys might be sent to Hawaii, Honlulu, Washington, or California. We don't know for sure yet so don't worry. I am happy & hope this finds you the same.   I want you to send one of every one them pictures we had taken but wait till I write again. Well I suppose I will have to close as I have to get leave & mail this.   Well bye bye.
With lots of love to all P. S. I have to be vaccinated again tomorrow for Typhoid fever. Kinley
