Letter dated May 10, 1917 Page 2
Well now I want you to tell all the kids to write as it gets pretty lonesome out here. As you were saying the people said you didn't care when I left. I know a lot, Father, & there is never a day passes but what I think of you and Dad & I can yet see the smiles on your faces. Oh them smiles sure put the pep into me. But don't never worry because I am going to be a man & a clean man & straight all the way threw. THROUGH A lot of the boys here believe in drinking but not me no more. Well now tell all to write & I'll ans.

Your own true son,
Kinley Cisney
