Dear Folks,

As I have not heard from you for quite a while tho't THOUGHT I would drop a few lines tonite. I am feeling fine and getting better satisfied and acquainted all the time. Having a good time too.

I was down to the Golden Gate Park, saw lots of great sites. Buffalo & deer, black & white swans. The black swans are larger than the African geese, have a long neck & red bill, the white are about the same size & have black bills. They sure are pretty. Saw lots of wild mallard ducks with little ones of all sizes. They sure looked natural to me, made me wish I had a gun, but a fellow is not allowed to molest them in the least.

The park sure is pretty, flowers & lakes & one big waterfall which is about 3 to 400 ft high. Looks great.

Was down to a museum, Saw lots of old relicks & statues, also saw a silver mounted saddle & bridle & silver on the saddle would amount to more than $5000, IN 1917 DOLLARS!! Some saddle too.

I was in the park all afternoon and didn't see 1/10th of what there is to see. I can't even begin to describe all I seen but it sure is a great place. There is better than 1200 acres in it so you see it isn't any small place.

I was to Frisco SAN FRANCISCO yesterday. Took in a few shows. The fellow I have been going around with is sure some pal. His name is Ord Leapley Ha Ha. ONE OF THE COLERIDGE BOYS So you see I got a good protector. We was together today & most ever time.

      Well must go to supper.

Back from supper. Not much a Sun supper. We had coffee bread, potatoes, meat & gravy. But of course the cook likes it easy on Sunday too.

Herb COUSIN FROM CALIFORNIA hasn't been down or he hasn't ans ANSWERED my card. Don't know what is the matter.

Oh, Yes. We had to take the third shot in the arm Thurs. It sure made my arm sore that night but was alright next morning.

I got a letter from Lon Mullen & C. E. Galagher. Both were sure good letters, too. All the bad I tho't of Mr. Gallagher is all forgotten, & all are friends.
