Dear Dad & Mamma,

I received your dandy present today & it sure did fill the bill. I don't hardly know which is the best, it or the folder.

I wrote you last night but I am sending my old letters & a picture that is too big to take with me. And also my watch. I had a misfortune with it, broke the crystal & hands off, & I was afraid to take it to Frisco. SAN FRANCICSO Tho't THOUGHT they might put it on the blink. You have it fixed up & Dad can use it, as I am going to get me a cheap watch. I am using Ed Gartner's now as he has two. He sure is a dandy kid, he always divides with me first.

Well I will cut this short so I can go mail this letter & package, so write soon. I am as ever,

Your little son
Kinley

P.S. Now folks, don't worry because Old Uncle Sam always did come out on top & we sure will this time & I don't think we will have to work hard for it either. So may god bless you & take care of you.

Kinney ONLY HIS MOM EVER CALLED HIM THAT
