      I also read that the nice M. E. preacher & family are leaving. I don't think they had ought to be missed much.

      Folks, I wish you could see our Officers. They sure treat us fine. The one old Captain is just like a father & explains everything out plain to us. The Luet. Is a young fellow & used to belong to the Co. & he sure is nice too. If a fellow doesn't get along it is his own fault because if he tries they will sure help him. But a fellow can't get by & be bull headed.

      Well news is scarce & this is getting long. Will close.
