Dear Folks,

Well as I didn't get a chance to write yesterday will try & do it this afternoon.

I just came off guard, took a bath & feel like a fox. We had an extra long guard as it was Sunday, but we sure had a nice nite. Just as clear & cool. Did not notice the long part of it at all.

Well how is every one by now. I am fine in every way & always enjoying myself. Last nite when I was on post I could see a forest fire away south. It burnt from 7 o'clock last nite until this morning & the paper say that they are pretty thick in the southern part of the state. It sure did loom up the skies.

I understand that there is to be a big parade here some day this wk. It is for the Second Liberty Loan WAR BONDS DRIVE & all valiable AVAILABLE troops have to parade, so we probable PROBABLY will be in it.

What kind of weather are you having back there? Now days, here it nearly roast a fellow. But I would rather it be hot than to have that fog hit us.

I wish you folks were here. Tonite I plan on going down & take a swim & afterwards see show.

Well folks not much news but will write more next time. Well Good bye for this time.

With Love to all
Your son & Bro
Kinley
