Dear Folks,

Well as I am at the YMCA I tho't THOUGHT I would drop you a line tonite.

I was at the range today, but was off & didn't make a very good score. Not as good as yesterday.

My shoulder is awfully sore. The guns sure do kick. But when it comes to shooting straight they are there. At 300 yds I hit the 8 in bull's eye 7 out of 10 shots yesterday, so you see they have the pep.

We have a nice YMCA here, plenty of good books, writing paper, & a big Victrola HAND CRANK RECORD PLAYER & plenty of foxy VERY ENJOYABLE records. & twice a week we are given a free movie show. They certainly are great. The had The Spy on this week & it was awfully interesting.

How is every one there? I am fine & as news is scarce will close as we have Battalion Inspection tomorrow & I have to prepare for that.

Well, here is hoping that you will be over to read this.

Well I'll hang up for now. Write soon.

Your son
With Love & Best Wishes to all
