Ft Winfield Scott Nov. 26 1917 Dear Folks,   Hello, Folks. How is every body back there? This leaves me fine & dandy.   Bennie Wilson was here yesterday on his road home from back there. It sure was good to see him & the good news he brought with him & sure had us interested & we were very strict listeners to any thing from there.   We are still at Scott   We had a big hike last Saturday with our heavy packs. It was about 6 miles round trip & these packs began to get heavy. But it suited alright as we got out of inspection & had the rest of the day off & some of the boys were issued passes till 4 oclock Sunday. But as I didn't have any place I could go I didn't stay long.   I am sending you a couple of pictures I had taken in the trenches with a couple of old ladies. The (??)   I wish you were here to see the trenches. They are certainly crowded on Sundays with site seers.   I am going to a movie show at the Y-M-C-A tonite or I am here now but the show doesn't start for quite a while yet. It reminds me of Shewster's show. Ha, Ha.   I suppose the corn is about all picked. The next will be shelling I suppose. No corn shelling for me, but I'll shell the Dutch.   Well Moma news is scarce so will close for this time. So Bye, Bye.
With Love to all
