Dear Folks,

Hello, Every body. How are you all? I am fine & dandy.

Had an awfully nice dinner today, but nothing like we used to have at home. I was invited out to dinner today but couldn't get a long enough pass, so I didn't go.

We signed the pay roll yesterday & will stand muster tomorrow. Also get paid. We all look forward to pay day. It won't be a very large one for me as I have $5 Liberty Bonds, $5 allotment & $6.50 insurance so you see it only leaves me $13.50 but that is a great plenty.

We will probable PROBABLY leave some time soon but it is still unknown to us.

I suppose the last of the drafted boys leave pretty soon. Does Ernie BROTHER still think he will pass?

We have physical inspection about twice a week & the Doctor inspects our tents every day, so you see they are pretty particular about our health.

They also fight the venereal disease more so than anything else. They say it is the worst site a man could see at Presidio. But of course that is the main hospital on the coast. Believe me I am going to take care of my self. I would rather be dead than like some I have seen.

You had ought to have seen me doing my washing today. But I got it clean although I have blisters on my fingers. I took a good bath & feel light as a feather. A fellow likes to keep clean here as he might get a few extras. BODY LICE

Well I must close & shine my shoes for tomorrow. So Bye Bye

With Love to all
Your son
Kinley
