Dear Folks & All,

Well no letter from you yet, but still looking for one. I received the package you sent. The razor sure is a dandy & believe me the pipe & tobacco came in handy. You folks seem to know just exactly what I need. Nothing would have suited me any better. We can get plenty of Bull Durham but pipe tobacco is very scarce.

Oh, yes. Tell Mike & Pearl Brother & Sister-in-Law I received their letter & pictures. Very glad to get them too. The baby sure does look cute & also healthy. I will try & write them later.

Have you folks heard from Earnest Brother or is he there yet?

I gave those two papers you sent a good reading. The one, you had marked Uncle Charles, Uncle from Indiana It sure had the truth in it, but the Coleridge Blade Local Weekly Newspaper wasn't so interesting. But nevertheless they all get a good reading. We don't have much reading matter here. So be sure & send some as often as possible.

The climate here the last two or three days sure has been great. Seems as though it is Spring. The grass is green & the air is scented with the spring fragrance.

What are you folks doing to pass the time away?

Well this is just a mere note thanking you for the presents & to tell you I am feeling fine & dandy. Hoping it finds you the same.

I am awfully sorry I couldn't send you Xmas presents, but next year I will be able to make up for this year.

      Write soon.

With love to all
Your Son & Brother
