Somewhere in France
Jan 28, 1918

Dear Folks & all,

How is everyone at home? I am feeling fine & dandy, still having plenty to eat & good stuff too. I am getting to like this country better every day, but never as well as good old U.S.A.

I have not received any mail from you for a long time. Only the package. I forgot to mention the wristlets in my other letter. They sure are fine. But is isn't very cold here, not like it used to be in old Nebraska.

What are you folks doing to pack the time away? Oh yes, wasn't Dad's birthday in this month? I forgot when his was. Also Mike's, Odessa's, Earl's, & Joe's. Brothers and Sister Be sure & tell me in your next letter.

Well mother I can't write all I would like to but you can imagine how much I am thinking of telling you when I return. Well, write soon.

Your son,
With love to all
Kinley
