Letter dated February 14, 1918
Somewhere in France
Febr. 14, 1918

Dear Folks at home,

Hello everyone, how is the world treating you all? I am fine & dandy, enjoying the best of health & good times.

I suppose Spring is about due in your neighborhood. The people are plowing here. Gosh I would like to try my hand at it for a while. But just wait until I get back – I'll make that 240 acres look black.

Who is living on the home place this year?

Charley W. Charles Willey, My Other Grandfather received a letter from his mother saying Ralph H. got discharge – on what grounds?

Well folks, this is a mere note but hope it finds you well & be sure & write ofter & also a little candy & stuff. Well so long

Your son & Bro
with love to all
Kinley
