Dear Folks at Home,

As I haven't heard from you in nearly three weeks I am about to lose my patience. (Only joking). But there must be a mistake some place as we don't seem to be getting our mail very regular. But I will on waiting & hoping for a latter tomorrow or later.

How is everyone at home? I am feeling fine & dandy.

Has Earnest Brother left yet? If so, where is he & what branch of service.

I suppose you had a grand celebration the 22nd. We had an entertainment at the Y. M. C. A. That nice the Y. M. C. A. people sure are doing great work over here. We have singing & musical concerts nearly every week & they certainly are fine too.

They have quite a few good books at the Y. too. I read one entitled Mitly yesterday & today I read the famous “Virginian” Ha Ha. I guess we used to read that at home now.

I am now waiting for your monthly papers & believe me they sure will be appreciated. Oh, Yes, I got my Coleridge Blade Hometown Weekly Newspaper Friday, but it didn't take me long to read all the news. But little as is was it was well appreciated.

Did you receive the handkerchiefs I sent some time ago? I haven't received the package you & Odessa Sister sent. I suppose it probable probably was destroyed somewhere on the west coast.

Well news is scarce so I will close. Write soon.

With love to all
Your Son & Bro.
