France Mar 3, 1918 Dear Folks at Home,
  Hello everyone. How's is everybody at home? I am feeling fine & dandy & having a good time. This life sure does agree with me.   I received Odessa's   What are you folks doing to past away the time at home?   We sure are treated royal by the Y. M. C. A. Moving picture show every night except Friday night & Sunday. On Fri. nite we have noted singers & speakers from Paris. Believe me they sure are well appreciated. And all this is donated to the soldiers.   Well, how did you enjoy your trip to Ind?   Has Ernest   The way Sis wrote you must have been having your share of the blizzard there. We had awfully nice weather until yesterday & then it caught cold & has been snowing & raining most of the time since. But we are well provided for & the weather don't bother me any.   I suppose Mike's   I see by the paper the Pollet is going to start a garage in the Blacksmith shop. Where is Dad going to run his shop the year? I think Dad had ought to buy that building. But of course he might want a small fortune for it.   Oh yes, I see you have a new Hardware man. Didn't seem to like the Farmer's Union very well.   Well I can't think of much more to write but will a try again soon. So will close. Write soon
