Dear Dad & Mother:

I will try & write a few more lines today as I have a day off. How is everyone at home? This leaves me feeling fine & dandy & still enjoying plenty of good eats, such as cherries & currants & gooseberries, with French fried spuds & toast. I will tell you more when I get over there. Ha Ha. But you can see I do not starve here.

I suppose everyone is busy in the fields. I hope the crops look as good there as they do here. The wheat crop here is the best I have ever saw. The wheat stands nearly to my arm pits & has a very long head. & the other small grain looks great also. But I have not had the pleasure to see any corn yet. How do the crops look over there?

Mother & dad I wish I could tell you more of my life here as it is very interesting, but I don't think the censor would let it pass, so I won't cause him any work trying to get it by.

I have not had any mail for quite a while, but we move recently & I think we will get it some time soon. But I will write as often as possible anyway.

You had ought to of saw me washing my clothes yesterday. It was some site, but nevertheless they came out clean. Don't when they will dry as it has rained for 2 days straight.

Well as news is scarce I will close for this time.

With Love to All
Your Son
Kinley
