Dear Dad & Mother:

Well as I have another day I will drop you a few lines. How is everyone at home? This leaves me feeling fine & dandy, enjoying plenty of good eats as usual.

I got the Coleridge Blade Hometown Weekly Newspaper yesterday but no letters. Air First Class mail has been has been held up somewhere as we have not received any for over two weeks. But expect it any time.

Do you hear from Ernest Brother very often? I wrote him once & expect an answer any time now.

There isn't much news to write, only to let you know I am still well & happy.

Oh yes, I forgot to tell you, out Batt. Has now the right to wear the Gold Chevron on the left arm, which means 6 months foreign service. Believe me we are proud of that little gold stripe.

Well folks, when I get your letter I'll be able to write more, but will close for this time.

Your loving son
Kinley
