France June 30, 1918 Dear Dad & Mother:
I received your letter of June the 4th yesterday & maybe you don't think I was a tickled kid, as it was the first mail I had had for about a month.   This leaves me feeling fine & dandy & hope it finds you the same.   I sure was sorry to hear about Ernie   If I ever find out where the old Cisna   I can't see why you don't get my letters as I write one every four days & sometimes oftener. But remember if they don't come on time that they are on the road somewhere.   Did you folks go to Randolph to the drilling contest? I got a letter from Mike's   You ask me if we are doing real work, I should say we are doing great business & I like it better all the time.   Oh yes, what did Meyers think of Wellington's having to go back. Sent me a list of the Cedar County   It seems to me that Lester Clarence & Leo B. waited quite a while to enlist.   One of the boys here gets the Soo   That sure was some trick U. S. Bridenbaugh tried to pull getting Jurgens out. I have my opinion of old Lyss.   Oh yes I got a good letter from Pudge & Alta Gallagher, but it was mostly about their babe. Ha, Ha. They seem to think he is the only one.   Well I have written about all I can think of so will close for this time. So take good care of yourselves, & may God bless you & keep you.
Your Son
Private Kinley J. Cisney
