Dear Dad, Mother & All,

As I have lots of time I will try & write a few lines. How is everyone at home? I am feeling fine & dandy.

We are back for an indefinite period of rest. It sure is some dandy place where we are at. Nice river close by where we can swim & fish to our heart's content. I have not fished any yet, but have took many a good plunge.

Mother I believe the prettiest country I have ever seen is right here in France. This country may be old but I certainly think it would be an ideal place to spend pleasure time in.

There is lots of things I would like to tell you about, but of course I would probable probably cause more work for the censor & you wouldn't find out so will remember it all to tell you when I get back.

Oh yes, you had ought to of seen our breakfast. Pancakes, Maple syrup & butter. It reminded me of some of the grand old days at home.

What are you folks working at back there? I suppose the harvest is past & threshing is near at hand. I also have seen how they harvest & thresh here, but don't think I would like their way.

I understood Earl's Brother had a car. What kind of one did he get?

Be sure & answer all the questions as I want to know who is who back there.

Well I have written about all for this time so will close. Write soon.

With Love to All
