Letter dated November 18, 1918
France
Nov. 18, 1918

Dear Dad & Mother;

      I just received two more letters today. One was dated Aug 1st & the other one was Aug. 7. They were delayed some where on the road as I have received several later ones.

      This leaves me feeling fine & dandy, hoping it finds you all the same.

      I suppose everyone is planning on the return of us boys over there. Believe I for one will be a tickled kid when I get back. France isn't such a bad place, but the Old U. S. A. for me & the quicker I get there the better it will suit me.

      Charlie W. Charles Willey, My other Grandfather got a letter from Ed Gartner & he said he was feeling better & that he would soon be out of the hospital. He did not say anything about losing his mother, poor kid. I certainly feel sorry for him.

      I got letters from Joe & Inez Brother and Sister today also. Inez sure is proud of that new girl. Too bad it wasn't a boy so there could be a name sake. Ha Ha. But I guess nurses are as useful as soldiers.

      Ruby told me Aunt Agnes was going to make you another visit. Be sure and keep her there until I get back as I want to get acquainted with some of my relation. And I guess I might as we start with her.

      Do you still hear from Cousin Charley? I haven't heard from him from some time. Maybe he is too busy just now & can't write but I still have hopes of hearing from him yet.

      There isn't much to write so will ring off for now.

With Love & Best Wishes
Kinley
