Dear Folks

I have been putting off writing as long for the simple reason I tho't Thought we would be on our way before Xmas. But as we are still here, I will try and ans your letters of Nov. 23 and 28 and also I received a letter & money order from SidBrother. Certainly glad to get them all and to hear that everyone was still well.

I surely hope you all had a fine Xmas and New Year dinners. We had a fine Xmas dinner, beaucoup turkey and good stuff to eat. But maybe you don't think I didn't long to be home. But I sure will be there next year and it will take lots of turkey and even the fattest calf as the coming sea voyage is going to create an awfully large appetite for me.

So far I have not received any of the packages, but expect them any time now, as some of the boys received theirs today.

We had a little snow on Xmas, but it soon melted and all it does is rain. But not very cold so we are not kicking.

Well news is scarce so will close, hoping this finds you all well and that I beat this letter home.

Your Son
With Love to All
Kinley
