Dear Dad Mother, & All

I just received your most welcome letter of Dec 1st last night and believe me I certainly was glad to hear from you again. This leaves me feeling fine & dandy but still waiting to be sent home.

We tho't Thought we would be sent home before Xmas, but something turned up & we didn't get to go. I doubt if we will leave this month, but of course we don't know anything for sure. Any way I hope to get there by the 4th of July so we can enjoy lots of good auto rides before field work.

I have not received the packages yet. Some of the boys got theirs so maybe mine will get here soon too. Anyways, I am still waiting for them.

Have you received the box I sent? It had ought to have been there by the 10th of Jan. I don't know why you didn't get my latter of Nov. 11th as I wrote right after the Armistice was signed and also mailed it the same day.

I certainly was glad to get the picture. Mike Brother sure does look good. I suppose he is there by now.

The weather here has been fine up till last & it started to snow but melts pretty fast and I don't think it will amount to much.

We also had a little snow Xmas but it was all gone by Xmas night.

The news is so scarce I can't hardly think of anything to write so will close for now. Will try and do better next time.

Your Son
With Lots of Love and Best Wishes
Kinley

P.S. Tell Dad I was thinking of him on the 4th and would liked to beat him up a bit.
