Dear Folks

Just a few lines today to let you know I am still well and in the same old place and have no idea when we will leave for home.

I received the box from Paris today and was very glad to get it. It contained 2 packages of cigarettes, 1 doz razor blades and two little cans of jam. And now I am looking for the one direct from you which I know will be a lot better.

How is everyone at home? I hope that you are all free from all sickness.

Everything is fine & dandy here. I was to good show last nite. It was a musical comedy put on by the Ohio National Guard and it was certainly good and was well appreciated by us soldiers. I surely will be glad when I can get back and see some real life shows once more.

We are taking up boxing and wrestling and also basketball in our outfit now, so you see we will have something to break the monotony.

Believe me a fellow sure does get tired of waiting. We might get away from here this Mon. But nothing for sure.

I was made 1st Class Private about Jan 1st and that will give me $3 more a month. Oh every little bit helps and if things stay the same I sure will need help in the future Ha, Ha.

Well as news is so scarce I will ring off for this time, hoping this finds you all well. I am, as ever,

Your Son
With Love and Best Wishes to All
Kinley
